Ani Ramen: Dragon's Breath

Ingredients: El Dorado 3yr White Rum, dragon fruit puree, simple syrup, lemon, honey, habanero shrub, dragon fruit garnish.

The Hutton: The Head Shot

Ingredients: Gin, lime juice, cucumbers, strawberries, club soda, tonic water, and Sprite.

The name of the cocktail alone should be a hint that the force is strong in this one. This is The Hutton's take on the gimlet. Complete with some muddled cucumbers and strawberries for extra freshness. 225 Hutton St.

Porta: The White Door

Ingredients: Peach liqueur, white wine, Skyy Texas Grapefruit Vodka, orange juice.

Talde: Bring The Beat Back

Ingredients: Lemongrass-infused gin, Canton, and a medley of beet, carrot, and apple juices.

It's like adding alcohol to your favorite health juice! Life is all about balance after all. This is the healthiest cocktail in all of Jersey City (by our standards). Cellar 335: The Hidden Paradise

Ingredients: Rhum Barbancourt 5 Star, Plantation Oftd, Galliano, Giffard Banane de Bresil, guava, Demerara, lime, Angostura bitters.

Being a tiki bar, one could argue Cellar 335 is always serving summer cocktails. They just rolled out a brand new list of tropical delights. What's so cool about The Hidden Paradise? It comes in Cellar 335's custom mug that you can purchase and take home. 335 Newark Ave.

Corgi: The Corgi Cup

Ingredients: Corgi Earl Grey Gin, fresh lemonade, mint, club soda.

Dullboy: The Zadie

Ingredients: 100-Proof James E. Pepper 1776 rye, Pineapple Giffard, Absinthe, and lime.

Fox & Crow: The Pink Flamingo

Ingredients: Hibiscus, ginger, lime, and tequila.

Gringo's: My "G" Emma

Ingredients: Lemongrass-infused Blanco Tequila, cucumber juice, pressed pineapple, and agave.

Harry's Daughter: Hawaiian Hotstepper

Ingredients: Scotch bonnet pepper-infused Tequila (house infused), organic passion fruit puree, Demerara syrup, Hawaiian black lava salt rim.

The Kitchen Step: The Ring of Fire

Ingredients: Mezcal, hibiscus, macadamia nut, lime distillate, Passion Fruit Snow, and Tiki Bitters.

Inspired by a trip to Hawaii, "The Ring of Fire" is the nickname that locals give the wild hibiscus flower. The locals claim that the flower looks similar to the top of a volcano. Macadamia nuts are grown in Hawaii and every Hawaiian-inspired cocktail needs those tropical notes like passion fruit. The mezcal adds an interesting twist. 500 Jersey Ave.

LITM: Some Like It Hot

Mathews: Fo Swizzle

Ingredients: Tequila, lime, lychee, coconut liqueur, topped off with some hot honey.

Tropical flavors mixed with hot honey? Yes please! Perfect for those summer nights that are a bit breezy. 351 Grove St.

Órale: The Dirty Goose

Ingredients: Grey goose vodka, Stillhouse Coconut White Whiskey, lychee, banana liqueur, and muddled gooseberries.

Red Lounge: Tequila Honeysuckle

Ingredients: Tequila, lemon juice, honeysuckle.

Red Lounge is taking a minimalist approach when it comes to their cocktails this season. This is their version of a daiquiri with a tequila and floral twist. Skinner's Loft: The Prickly Pear Margarita

Again, we couldn't do a Summer Cocktail Guide sans a Margarita. Prickly Pear is a popular marg flavor in trendy restaurants across the Southwest (and now Jersey City). What is prickly pear exactly? It's the fruit of a Cactus, similar to figs. 146 Newark Ave.


Ingredients: Malt Whiskey base, French-Caribbean Coconut Rum, Pineapple Brulee, fresh lemon juice, a spray of 16-Year-Old Scotch.

The Archer: The Road Rio

Ingredients: Amburana Cachaça, cranberry liqueur, pineapple, lime, and vanilla.
