With engagement season coming to a close and wedding season now in full swing, there are many of us that are planning bachelor or bachelorette parties. It can be a difficult task to get a group of people to decide on one place, so we've narrowed it down a little bit for you:
This may seem cliche, but there is really no disputing that Vegas is head and shoulders above every other party destination in the country. It has everything you need for your bachelor or bachelorette party, such as some of the best bars and nightclubs in the country, casinos, tens of thousands of other young people looking to have fun, and, most importantly, no rules*. You're going to want to check out our Vegas guide to make sure you hit all of the key spots to maximize your weekend.
New Orleans is a city full of culture, history, and a great party atmosphere. Bourbon Street has no open container law so feel free to grab a hurricane at Pat O'Brien's and stroll down the street to take it all in. There's no need to go on Mardi Gras, it's usually too crowded to really do or see much anyway. You'll have fun no matter what weekend of the year you go.
The weather's nice, you're at the beach, and there are a lot of young attractive people in Miami. I think that really just about sums up all the reasons you should go here. And that's before we even get started with their world class hotels and nightlife.
6th Street in Austin is one of the greatest streets in America. It is a stretch that is completely lined with bars and people looking to have a good time. You can find live music every day at almost any time of day and there is plenty of good BBQ to keep you satisfied.
Did someone say live music? Nashville is another location that has live music everywhere you turn. It has become increasingly popular among bachelor and bachelorette parties in recent years, and it's tough to go a block without seeing a woman wearing a tiara or bachelorette sash. The food is good, there are plenty of bars, and it is one heck of a fun town. Check out our guide to making the most of your Nashville experience.
Charleston has a vibrant nightlife along with some of the best beaches, golf courses, and restaurants of anywhere in the U.S. It's not always the first city that comes to mind when you think bachelor or bachelorette party but it certainly does the trick; this is a perfect city for a weekend getaway.
For those of us who like to hit the slopes, Lake Tahoe is the perfect destination. They boast world class ski resorts, to go along with a great nightlife scene. If you're feeling lucky you can try out one of the casinos as well.
*Disclaimer: Vegas does actually have a few rules. I was also surprised to learn this.
