Vogue recently released the 10 Hottest Travel Destinations of 2017, and this list definitely has us checking flights! 2016 saw countries like Brazil (for the Olympics) and Cuba (with the travel ban lifted) heavily traveled, but 2017 brings some new spots to the forefront. Remote areas of the world that were once impossible to get to will continue to become more popular thanks to advances in transportation.
The country of Georgia (pictured above) tops the list in 2017 for its vibrant music, great wine, and skiing/snowboarding. With the advancement of heli-skiing operations in the Caucasus Mountains, experienced adventurers now have access to once untouched powder.
Probably the most surprising spot on this year's list is Idaho. Yes, Idaho. This state in the western U.S. hits the list at number 7 for its growing craft beer and distillery scene, access to the outdoors, and creative hubs. With more than 190 miles of trails, some of the best skiing in the United States, and a more relaxed vibe than places like Park City and Jackson Hole, make Idaho your next domestic destination!
