When you think about Harborside, the first things to come to mind are most likely luxury living, emerging architecture and heart-stopping Manhattan views. Yes, while all of those things are true, there are some hidden (and soon-to-come) gems! The next time you want to stroll the riverside boards along the Hudson, here are some little shops and eateries to stop at…

Make sure to get your caffeine on first with Jersey City favorite 9 Bar Café that has expanded to a second location in one of the newest residential buildings, Urby. If you thought the homey vibes of 9 Bar couldn't get any better, just wait 'til you see their new space. Don't worry, it's still the same rich, bold coffee, lattes though (we highly recommend the cold brew for the summer)!

If you're all about one-stop-shops, Harborside Atrium is filled with pop-ups! Storefronts and food trucks will keep growing as a #ShopLocal hub for small businesses. Inside, you can find everything from fresh flowers to coal-fired pizza to artisan gelato! Stop inside and see both some of Jersey City's newest and favorite vendors:

Before your caffeine-drinking, sight-seeing and local-shopping day comes to a close, be sure to check out Noah's Ark, one of Jersey City's florists. Not only do they have pre-made arrangements, but there's trendy cacti and succulents for sale, as well as a shop-by-stem policy, which means essentially, you can design your own bouquet—or better yet, someone else's.

What better way to end your #JCLocalWknd then with some fresh blooms?
