Are you sad to see Summer '17 go? Nothing a good burger can't cure! Just close your eyes, take a bite and pretend you're back at a 4th of July barbecue (although the burgers we are about to recommend would put any barbecue to shame). There are tons of delicious burgers around Chilltown you must try. Let's look on the bright side here, at least you don't have to think about summer body anymore! So go ahead and order the fries, because you know you want to.
The Mac Daddy at Left Bank Burger
At Left Bank Burger Bar they set said bar pretty high. Their signature burgers look like a heart-attack on a plate, so it's safe to say whatever you order will be one hell of a burger. That perfect specimen above is the Mac Daddy. Complete with fried mac and cheese that is as thick as the burger patty. Another must try at Left Bank are the Jersey Devil fries, and they also have awesome shot and beer specials. Definitely save Left Bank for when you need an ultimate cheat day.

The Bacon Cheeseburger at O'Leary's Publik House
If you are looking for a serious hamburger, O'Leary's Publik House is the place. Fresh, juicy and beefy, this burger won't disappoint. If you like the crispy stuff on your burger they sure do pack it on here. You get a lot of burger and bacon for under $12. Just looking at their burgers on the 'gram are enough to make your mouth water, and the IRL experience will too. Owned by a Jersey City firefighter and located on the border of Greenville and Bergen-Lafayette, this place has a laid-back working class vibe. Friendly and speedy service, a large backyard patio, it's the perfect place to grab a beer and burger while catching the game.

White Mana Diner
Who needs White Castle when we are #blessed enough to have White Mana, a true Jersey City classic. No seriously, it's actually a landmark and has been around since the 1939 New York World's Fair. If you've ever had their burger, you'd understand why. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with fast food like counter service and prices. Don't forget it is a cash only establishment. The burger literally melts in your mouth it is that good, and the waffle fries are on the same level of deliciousness.

The Duck Burger at The Archer
Beef burgers aren't all they're quacked up to be. If you're into alternative burgers, the duck burger is a must try at The Archer. Tender duck meat that is perfectly complimented by smoked gouda and a BBQ-cherry compote on a brioche bun. It's gourmet game burger heaven. Took my friends here once and they still talk about the duck burger to this day. Try it once and you'll be telling people about it too.

Dark Side of the Moo
This burger shack is a meat lover's paradise. If you are feeling up for it, there are some very adventurous game options, like The Dark Side Of the Roo kangaroo burger, or the Hump Day camel burger. Both the menu and the staff can give you a pretty good idea of what the big game will taste like. Speaking of big and taste, The Four Horsemen of The Apocalypse may be the most extra burger in Jersey City. The "four" are bacon, pulled pork, and pork roll on a large burger patty accompanied by pepper jack, chipotle mayo, BBQ sauce, jalapeños, LTO, and bacon jam. You might want to do some jaw stretches to get ready for this one and prepare to get a little messy.
