Now that the holidays are upon us and the weather is finally seasonally appropriate, we have an excuse to nestle close to those we cherish, but that doesn't have to mean staying home! Manayunk is filled with spots that not only offer meals and libations to warm the belly, but also elegant interiors that wrap you in a comforting embrace. These 4 spots offer the coziest dining experiences for date night in the neighborhood!

Bourbon Blue

The charm and beauty of this revamped mill building takes your breath away before you even taste the food, which immediately transports your taste buds down South. From their Blackened Shrimp & Grits ($12.50) to their Jambalaya ($20.50), Bourbon Blue takes the cake for comfort food in Manayunk. Be sure to indulge in one or two of their specialty cocktails (our favorite is the Blackberry Smash for $11) along with your Dinner. The relaxing and intimate setting in the main dining room is also enhanced by live acoustic music played Wednesday through Sunday.

Although Winnie's Brunch items are some of their most talked about, this Manayunk staple also offers up a decadent dinner menu from 4-9pm on Friday and Saturday. Think Lobster Mac & Cheese ($21) and Meatloaf with Potato Cakes ($18). Although the dining room is a bit dark, the ambiance is delightful. There is an adorable bar in the middle of the restaurant serving seasonal cocktails, and wooden tables around the room with plenty of conversational art pieces adorning the walls. Winnie's feels, and tastes, like home.

With it's no-frills, but comfy interior, and fast, hot bowls heaping with noodles (ranging in price from $11-14), @Ramen is sure to be a fantastic way to warm up in Manayunk this Winter. It's also a perfect way to fill up before hitting one of the many pubs down Main Street. You won't leave hungry, that's for sure!

This Main Street newcomer is a cozy, yet vibrant and stylish spot in Manayunk. With its beautifully designed wood fixtures, tufted back booths, and mood lighting, SOMO's vintage-modern atmosphere comes with a reasonably priced eclectic American menu (top dinner price: $21 for the Petite Filet). The bar is stocked with cocktails ($9-11), 24 craft beers on tap, and wine.
