Jersey City Eats, Jersey City staple Rita & Joe's is set to close at the end of this month. Rita & Joe's storied 32-year history includes scenes from The Sopranos being filmed there, as well as landing a top 5 spot on Eater's list of 10 Old-Fashioned Italian-American Restaurants in New York and Jersey City. The spot, located at 142 Broadway, was opened in 1985 by husband and wife Rita and Giuseppe "Joe" Pane, but recently has been run by their daughter-in-law Isabel. You can read the full statement from Isabel below:
Be sure to get over to Rita & Joe's while you still have the chance to enjoy true old-school Italian eats!

John likes to think he is very gifted. His talents include napping, eating sunflower seeds, growing a neckbeard, Ja Rule karaoke, and napping. Recovering from a knee injury, John is currently limited to bar games like shuffleboard, pool, and darts, and accepts all challengers. An avid sports fan, the only thing he enjoys more than attending a game, is the beach. Don't let the knee injury fool you though, he can still get down on the dance floor!
