As reported by Jersey Digs, neighborhood favorite Bobby Dee's-a true watering hole for locals-is getting somewhat of a facelift! New ownership has recently taken over the space, but this doesn't mean the vibe is going to change, at least not completely. The group that purchased the bar includes Jersey City born-and-raised Dominick Pandolfo (partner at Edward's Steakhouse) and Tom Egar (who co-owned the old Lamp Post Bar & Grille which closed in 2015).

Future plans include Friday night Karaoke, while live music is sure to be an integral part of the space. The completion of the revamp could take some time, but full food service will be available upon their full launch. Currently Bobby Dee's is open on Friday and Saturday from 5pm-3am, and Sundays from Noon-late. There's currently no timeline for full service seven days a week, but we will keep you posted as developments are announced!

John likes to think he is very gifted. His talents include napping, eating sunflower seeds, growing a neckbeard, Ja Rule karaoke, and napping. Recovering from a knee injury, John is currently limited to bar games like shuffleboard, pool, and darts, and accepts all challengers. An avid sports fan, the only thing he enjoys more than attending a game, is the beach. Don't let the knee injury fool you though, he can still get down on the dance floor!
