Thursday, April 5th:
P1R4T3 FL4G Release at Departed Soles
Chilltown's own brewery Departed Soles is releasing a new beer on Thursday: P1R4T3 FL4G. It is a twice dry hopped India Pale Ale joining our growing rotation of IPAs that scream balance. Head on over and grab a pint (or a flight) with friends, human and furry! 150 Bay St.
Friday, April 6th:
DJ CREAM and DJ DRAMOS at Porta
Friday night at Porta means mixing up the beats. Both DJs will start around 11:30pm and play until 2am. DJ Cream will play the main floor and DJ Dramos will be in the Monk Room (down the stairs, to the left). 135 Newark Ave.
Le Grand Bazaar JC
This Friday, April 6th, is the kickoff of the 2018 season for Le Grand Bazaar. Come out to the Grove St. PATH from Noon-9pm to shop for art, music, and clothes from local vendors.
Bethune Night Out "Where Culture and Community Unite"
From 5-9:30pm on Friday, April 6th at the Bethune Center of Jersey City is hosting a community-based networking event to mix and mingle over art, film, and live music. Plus an indoor marketplace featuring local vendors. 140 Martin Luther King Dr.
MONOCHROME a Visual Art Show
Join The Raritan Gallery and PRIME Gallery for the opening reception of MONOCHROME from 6-9pm this Friday, April 6th. The digital art display incorporates a "unified monochromatic color palette, eliminating the noise and distraction of color in the audience's experience." Evening Laser Shows at Liberty Science Center
Floyd or Zeppelin, or both? Friday April 6th and Saturday April 7th come out to the Liberty Science Center to watch a laser spectacle while listening to your favorite classics. The Led Zeppelin show starts at 9pmm and Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon stars at 10pm. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for kids, per show. Just as a reminder this is a special event taking place in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium, everything else in the Liberty Science Center will be closed. 4636, 222 Jersey City Blvd

Brunch Special at Brightside Tavern

Thinking about a new addition? You won't have to go further than the Newark Ave. Pedestrian Plaza on Saturday April 7th. K9dergarten is hosting the adoption event and the furry friends-zy begins at 11am. 173 Newark Ave.
National Beer Day with NJ Brewing Co.
Celebrate National Beer Day with samples and swag from 6-8pm! The New Jersey Brewing Company will be at LITM with 5 different beers to sample, raffle prizes and freebies. 140 Newark Ave.
Brewery Bus Tour with JC Brew Club
This year, the JC Brew Club bus tour will be traveling to local breweries: Brix City, Fort Nonsense, Manskirt and Czig Meister. Tickets include bus fare, a tour at each brewery, and non-alcoholic drinks for the bus ride. They also will have some free beer on the bus (as always). Bus departs from Jersey City at 11:30am and will return around 8pm. $40 for tickets, get them here.

Free Yoga in Lincoln Park
Join local yoga instructor Jessica Nammit every Sunday in the Hank Gallo Building at Lincoln Park (next to Casino in the Park and the playground) for free yoga classes. These classes are beginner friendly and open to all levels. Class starts at 11am. 1 Lincoln Park
The Everyman's Party at Red Lounge JC
Hosted by the Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival and "sexy beats" provided by DJ Gustavo. Taking place this Sunday from 5-9pm at Red Lounge (the speakeasy below Paste E Vino.) All are welcome, $5 cover and some awesome drink specials. 136 Newark Ave.
Kittens at Kanibal
Jersey Cats will be hosting an adoption event at Kanibal & Co. this Sunday April 8th from 11am-3pm. Bring home a new feline friend! 197 Montgomery St.
