With Star Wars Day, the Kentucky Derby, and Cinco de Mayo falling on the same weekend, there are almost too many events to count. Most include some combination of eating, drinking, dancing, and cheering, and all will definitely be a lot of fun!

Thursday, May 3rd:

Cinco de Kamayan at Talde

Talde has lots of amazing events, but one that is a little harder to come by is Talde's Kamayan dinner. Held at the communal table, you eat with your hands and leave with new friends and a happy belly. The Kamayan dinner on May 3 will have food and drinks influenced by Mexican dishes and flavors. Friday, May 4th:

Latte Art Class at Hidden Grounds

If you've always wanted to learn how to create beautiful latte art, but never knew where to go, Hidden Grounds' beginner's latte art class is perfect for you. Learn the art theory and techniques behind the perfect latte art! 148 1st St.

ChicPea JC Turns 4 – May the 4th Be With You Party @ Porta

This Friday, Chicpea JC celebrates its 4-year anniversary! Head over to Porta to say congratulations and to party on one of the three themed floors. There will be DJs, giveaways, lots of drink specials, and a silent disco party on the roof. $5 @ the door and $20 for silent disco headphones. 135 Newark Ave.

May the 4th Be With You: A Star Wars Cantina Party at FM

This Friday, FM Restaurant is hosting a Star Wars-themed party (just in time for the new Han Solo movie)! And real Star Wars fanatics who arrive in costume pay a discounted cover. 340 3rd St.

Saturday, May 5th:

Opening of Dog Friendly Outdoor Space at Corgi Spirits

On Saturday, Corgi Spirits is opening their dog-friendly outdoor space! The space will be open through the fall, and is perfect for dog owners and dog-less dog lovers alike. 1 Distillery Dr.

Jersey City Cinco de Mayo Food Truck Fest

If your idea of a good time is ranking your favorite bites from different food trucks, we've got you covered. Head over to the JC Food Truck Fest to taste dishes from 20+ vendors, listen to live music, and hang out in the beer & wine garden. Cinco de Gringo's Party at Gringo's

Chicpea JC is hosting a Cinco de Mayo party at Gringo's. There will be lots of food, drinks, music, and giveaways! They recommend making reservations, so call ahead if you don't want to wait! 12 Coles St.

Kentucky Derby Party at the Bistro

Grove Square and Woodford Reserve are hosting a Kentucky Derby party! There will be a DJ, small plates, complimentary cocktails made with Woodford Reserve, and a jumbo screen playing the Kentucky Derby. There are a limited amount of tickets, so make sure to secure yours here. 116 Newark Ave.

Cinco de Mayo at Oralé

Oralé will be hosting a Cinco de Mayo party all day Saturday and Sunday. With a mariachi band from 12pm-3pm, a DJ from 6pm-midnight, and culminating with brunch on Sunday afternoon. 341 Grove St.

Cinco de Mayo at LITM

LITM is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with an authentic Mexican comfort food menu, and drink specials all night long. Although they aren't mandatory, reservations are definitely recommended. 140 Newark Ave.

90s Trivia Night at Word

If you're a lover of all things 90s, you will love this trivia blast from the past at WORD. To participate, just pay $5 which gets you a voucher for anything in the store including wine! If you're a WORD Inner Circle Member, the $5 is waived. 123 Newark Ave.

Race for the Cure at Liberty State Park

Brunch for a Cause at Madame Claude Bis

Eat brunch and feel good about yourself (even though you're drinking in the early afternoon).
