The weekend is upon us! As usual, Jersey City has plenty of events and gatherings to offer both residents and visitors alike. We've got everything from dad- and family-friendly events to a Thursday night dance party and the kick-off of the Famous Food Market, a free event happening every Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer.
Thursday, June 14th:
Evening Under the Stars
At the 8th annual festival hosted by The York Street Project, $60 will get you unlimited food and drink samples from all participating vendors from 6pm-9pm. Some of the food vendors include Talde, Ani Ramen, Porta, and more. There will be live music and a Dream Vacation Raffle. Purchase tickets in advance here or onsite. 89 York St.
#SinglesinJC Boot Camp at Base
Fitness, booze, and a potential bae? Join ChicPeaJC and Singles in JC for a boot camp workout from 7pm-8pm at Base. Then head over to Atlas Public House for the after party from 8pm-10 pm. Red Lounge Industry Thursdays

Fishing at the Reservoir
Bring the kids over to Reservoir 3 (Near Pershing Field) to sink a line this Thursday, June 14th from 3pm-7:30pm. Hosted by the Jersey City Department of Recreation, this is a reoccurring event that welcomes kids from ages 7 to 17. GP's Hamilton Park Piano Bar
Stop by GP's in Hamilton Park for a late night dinner, wine, and live piano music. Every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm-12am. 236 Pavonia Ave.
This Shabbat dinner party hosted by Mesorah NJ is from 7:30pm-10:30pm, beginning with Kiddush and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner. French, Russian, and Moroccan plates will be served, as well as international spirits. Celebrate Shabbat with a gorgeous view of the skyline in the 11th Floor Observatory at Liberty Harbor. Saturday, June 16th:
Famous Food Market at The Lutze Biergarten
The first of many, this family-friendly and food-centric event will occur every Saturday and Sunday until October 28th. It is free to attend and the event host 30+ vendors, including local craftsmen, a farm-to-table stand, and a beer/wine garden with a view. It all kicks off this Saturday and Sunday from 11am-7:30pm in the parking lot of The Lutze Biergarten. 15 2nd St.
Hudson County Transportation Management Association's 11th Annual Stride & Ride
Bring the kids over to Lincoln Park to learn all about cycling safety. There will be giveaways, bike races, and a safety obstacle course from 10am-3pm in parking lot next to the running track. This event is BYOB (Bring your own bicycle). 1 Lincoln Park.
Astrology Readings with Modern Sage
The Modern Sage Mobile Healing Station will be at Hamilton Park this Saturday from 12pm-4pm. Get your natal birth chart done or a 3-6 month transit reading. Three Beers for Three Years at Departed Soles
This weekend marks Departed Soles 3rd distribution anniversary. On Friday they will be releasing 2 barrel-aged beers and Saturday is the release of Berliner Weisse, their first "true" sour ale aged on dragon fruit.
