Prohibition Era Cocktails and Lingerie at Third & Vine
Yup! You read that right. Third & Vine is hosting an exposé on '20s booze and boudoir attire. Another Man's Treasure will be there with '20s undergarments on display and have items available for purchase at a 20% discount. Summer Dance Series at Exchange Place
This is the last installment of the Summer Dance Series brought to you by Mayor Steven M. Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council, and the Office of Cultural Affairs. Come out to the J. Paint for A Purpose at Team Walker Learning Center
Unwind from the week with a paint class for a good cause! The 2-hour class will be taught by local artist Heather Williams. Proceeds will go towards the Jersey City Montessori Charter School. The Brightside Tavern Film Festival Opening Night Party
Join the Brightside Tavern as they kick-off their Short Film Festival Series. The soiree is taking place from 7-11pm this Friday. A $35 ticket will get you access an open bar, free food, and the screening of the first feature film "Who's Jenna." They will be screening short films all weekend long. Wayne's World 2, A '90s Party at FM Restaurant
Dust off that flannel because this Friday, FM Restaurant is hosting a '90s-themed party. The DJ starts spinning at 10pm and will be playing a "Saved by the Bell" set. Admission is free so come party like it's your favorite decade! 340 Third St.
Feel Good Fridays at Grove Street
Stop by the Grove Street PATH Plaza this Friday for shopping and food. Because who doesn't like nibbling on munchies while shopping around for the latest fashion, vintage goods, and home décor. Jersey City Food Truck Fest

Bethune Night Out PRIDE
The Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival and the Bethune Center are throwing a pride party! This event is 18+ and free to attend. Taking place from 5-9:30pm, the entertainment will consist of live music, a drag show, vendors, and more. 140 Martin Luther King Blvd.
Saturday, August 4th:
Nautical Summer Photos at Bwe Kafe
Newport Baby Photography will be Bwe on Saturday from 10am-1pm. They are offering walk-in photo shoots for $100. A nautica-themed backdrop along with outfits in various sizes will be provided. The package will get you 3 professional photos of your baby. 140 River Dr S.
World Robot Olympiad at The Liberty Science Center
Bring the family to the Liberty Science Center this Saturday to watch the spectacle of a robot showdown. The engineers will have about 2 hours to build a robot and they will have no idea what the challenges will have in store for their creations. The competition starts at 9am and goes until 5pm. 222 Jersey City Blvd.
First Saturday Walks
An organized walk is a great chance to socialize and exercise at the same time. This event is organized by FreeWalkers. The group will meet at 9am at the historic Central Railroad Building. The the 3-hour walk will cover a total of 8 miles around Liberty State Park. Sunday, August 5th:
Brunch at Hudson Hall
Sundays are for brunch! Stop by for some good old fashion day drinking and enjoy both classic and specialty brunch cocktails for only $10.
