Thursday, August 9th:

Comedy Night at JC Underground

Laughter is the best medicine and it's definitely the best way to start your weekend off right! The JC Underground brings you some NYC quality comedians to the Jersey City downtown starting at 7:30 until 10pm for just $15. 116 Newark Ave.


Jersey City Poetry Slam at Tea NJ

Tea NJ will be hosting Jersey City Slam's 2018 Team Show Case! The show is the team's last opportunity to practice before the National Poetry Slam in Denver. They will be raising money for their travel costs while showing you their fully polished work before they head out! Attendance is free, doors open at 6pm and the show begins at 7pm. 262 Newark Ave.


Rum Punch Thursday at Harry's Daughter

Friday, August 10th:

Paint and Sip Night! At 234 Gallery

Downtown 234 Gallery is hosting a Paint Night this Friday! The event is BYOB, so bring your favorite beverage and tap into your creative side for a unique Friday night out! Tickets can be purchased here. 234 York St.


Bonobo Night aka Flirtatious Fridays at Iron Monkey

Jersey City Scavenger Hunt

Jersey City Small Business Services of JCEDC is hosting a city-wide scavenger hunt, starting on Friday, to help promote small business and encourage residents to shop local. Saturday, August 11th:

Salsa Pride Brunch at Hard Grove Restaurant

Indian Independence Day Celebration at City Hall Plaza

Twilight Tee-Off at Skyway Golf Course

Sunday, August 12th:

SummerFest at Liberty State Park

Get your fill of summertime live music with the evening breeze over the waterfront and a perfect view of the New York City Skyline! This week's installment of the Liberty State Park SummerFest will feature jazz musician Andrae Murchison, the concert will run from 6-8pm and includes food trucks and lots of space to set up your chairs and blankets. 200 Morris Pesin Dr.
