Circuit on the Hudson at Newport Green - September 1st
A perfect way to kick off your month is with a new fitness class to shake up your old routine! Circuits on the Hudson will be offering a free circuit group fitness experience from 9-10:30am at the Oval of Newport Green between Washington St and 14th St. For more information check out the event page here.
CHILLTOWN, Layer by Layer at PRIME Gallery - September 7th
Get your culture fix at the PRIME Gallery with local artist Ricardo Roig's exhibition "Chilltown, Layer by Layer," where he integrates the Jersey City streets into his unique technique of layering with handmade stencils. Jersey City Craft Distillery Fest - September 8th
Get your fill of craft spirits and the distillers, master blenders and other experts behind your favorite drinks! The Jersey City Craft Distillery Fest features over 100 styles of spirits to be enjoyed while taking in the incredible view of the NYC skyline. Hudson West Fest at Grace Church - September 8th
Hudson West Fest is Jersey City's only folk music festival, bringing you incredible live music, vendors and interactive musician workshops. The event runs from 12-10pm, the musical lineup and tickets can be found here. Grace Church, 39 Erie St.
Pet Rescue at Lutze Biergarten - September 8th
Join The Lutze Biergarten and the Liberty Humane Society, along with Hounds in Pounds and Second Chance Pet Rescue for a dog-friendly event on Saturday September 8th from 12-7pm. The event features pets for adoption, low-cost immunizations, microchipping, and pet licensing, along with food and drink vendors. 3 Second St.
Monticello Avenue Street Festival - September 8th
It's a month filled with street festivals! The Fifth Annual Monticello Avenue Street Festival will be held on Saturday September 8th from 12-6pm along Monticello Ave between Hudson and Jewett Ave. The featured event this year will be an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the longest Soul Train Line! Back to School Jam at White Eagle Hall - September 8th

All About Downtown Street Fair 2018 - September 15th
Arguably one of the best Jersey City events of the year, the annual All About Downtown Street Fair is a can't-miss day filled with food, music, and vendors featuring all that Jersey City has to offer sprawling throughout the Pedestrian Plaza along Newark Ave. You will certainly be able to spend the whole day wandering from food truck to food truck while checking out what the 100+ vendors have to offer! Newport Liberty Half Marathon - September 16th
The annual Newport Liberty Half Marathon will be on Sunday September 16th, starting bright and early and 8:30am and following an incredibly scenic route along the Hudson with views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the Manhattan skyline! A post-race celebration will also be hosted at the Newport Town Square with refreshments and music, for more information and to register, visit the event site here.
Golden Door International Film Festival - September 20th-23rd
The Landmark Loews Theater in Journal Square will be hosting the Golden Door International Film Festival from September 20th – 23rd. They are offering a special Filmmaker All Access Pass for access to the opening night, any movie screening throughout the weekend and other sponsored events. These tickets can be purchased here.
