Yet another month has gone by and there is no shortage of new places that have opened around Jersey City. This time, we have everything from restaurants in a variety of cuisines to places to get pampered. Why not go get a massage and then indulge in a juicy burger?!

Rumba Cubana

If you walked by Hamilton Park earlier in July, you may have noticed the cerulean blue classic car sitting outside GP's and the now-location of Rumba Cubana. The owners already have two other successful locations, so it's safe to say the neighborhood now has a local Latin treat. Given how extensive the Cuban-Caribbean menu is, you'll have to visit multiple times to try everything (we certainly will)! 237 Pavonia Ave.

Gaia's Cavern

Embrace a stress-free lifestyle (even if only temporarily) from the minute you walk in the door at Gaia's Cavern. This new neighborhood spa offers a variety of treatments ranging from massages, facials, and foot baths using organic ingredients. The relaxation doesn't have to end with your treatment–they have a unique selection of teas, CBD-infused products, and homemade bath and body care available for purchase. 140 Wayne St.

Wonderlash Studio

Ensure your lashes and brows are always on fleek with the help of Wonderlash Studio. At their downtown location, you can opt for lash extensions from a variety of styles, enhance your brows with microblading or tinting, and even get glammed with their professional makeup services. Definitely head here before a big event! 297 Grove St.

Diesel & Duke

I'm very excited to have one of my old haunts from my college days come to Jersey City. Diesel & Duke might be known for their mouth-wateringly delicious burgers and fries, but the real show-stoppers are their fried oreos! You can't go wrong with any combo of their menu items sober or even after having thrown back a few. 389 Monmouth St.

EggCurry

Eggs and curry are both pretty great, so EggCurry seems like a promising culinary experience. Plenty of their dishes combine the two into rich Indian plates, but there are plenty of more traditional Indo-Chinese dishes to choose from, too! They get bonus points for nothing on the menu surpassing $10.99 either–clearly a great place to bring the fam and your friends. 280 Central Ave.

Ruth's Chris

The renowned Florida-based steakhouse chose Jersey City as it's next location and our mouths were watering before they even opened their doors last week. If you've never been, get ready to try some amazing USDA Prime steak and stellar cocktails. Please note: the dress code is business casual. 499 Washington Blvd.

Dough Life

If you're like me, you grew up eating cookie dough straight out of the bowl. Let's face it–you're never too old for mom's homemade cookie dough, and Dough Life lets you live out your childhood indulgence. They offer 12 edible dough options (no raw egg!) and new flavors are released each month. This is the sweet spot to hit next time you're at the mall. Newport Centre Mall
