Golden Door Film Festival at The Landmark Loew's Theatre
This weekend kicks off the 8th annual Golden Door Film Festival of Jersey City. The opening gala is Thursday night from 6-10pm at The Landmark Loew's Theatre. The indie film festival will take place all weekend from Thursday, September 20th until Sunday, September 23rd at varying locations around Jersey City. LSC After Dark: Whiskey in the Wild West
The theme of this month's LSC After Dark is Whiskey in the Wild West. Enjoy a Western-inspired night of dancing, drinks, and food from 6-10pm. There will be bull riding, gold searching, and of course, whiskey tasting! This is a 21+ event. The food vendors are brought to you by Midnight Market, and please keep in mind that it is cash only. Industry Thursdays at Red Lounge

Designer Pocketbook Bingo Extravaganza at Jersey City Medical Center

Saturday Happy Hour at Piggyback Bar

Jersey City Education Fair

Flea Market and Park Fest 2018 at Riverview-Fisk Park

Jersey City Exchange Place 4th House Music Festival

New York Harbor Iconic Motorcars Event at Liberty State Park
The New York Harbor Iconic Motorcar show is back at Liberty State Park this Sunday, September 23rd. The event is presented by Driven By Purpose and will benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. Stop by to see the sport car spectacle from 10am-1:30pm. Admission is $20. 200 Morris Pesin Dr.
Run and Brunch at Hudson River Waterfront
This organized run along the Jersey City Harborside at 10am Sunday morning is hosted by GO SESH and local personal trainer Jesse Barton. The run is $15 and will include mixed training. Everyone is invited in to socialize over brunch afterwards, but it is not included. Hudson River Waterfront Walkway (by the Ferry Terminal)
Jersey City Free Public Library 10th Annual Book Festival
This event is taking place from 11am-4pm at the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza. There will be readings and book signings by local authors and performers, a poetry workshop, kid-friendly activities, and more. 134-188 Newark Ave.
