Halloweekend is upon us! Plenty of spook-tacular events and parties are going down in the hometown. Everything from freaky dance parties to scary movie screenings to get you in the spirit of Halloween! It's time to get a little creepy, JC!

Thursday, October 25th:

A Taste of Spain at Satis Bistro

Join Satis Bistro this Thursday for a four course pre-fixe dinner for $75, not including tax and gratuity. What is included though is wines from the Priorat region of Spain. For reservations (which are required) please email The event starts at 7:30pm. 212 Washington St.

Oktoberfest Charity Event at Zeppelin Hall

Drinking for a cause! Celebrate Oktoberfest while helping out the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Tickets are $100 and 100% goes to the charity. The event from 6pm-10pm includes a 2-hour open bar, food buffet, games, prizes, and more fun! 88 Liberty View Dr.

Ladies Night at Lucky 7's

Lutze Halloween Bash at Harborside Atrium

This Friday October 26th, Lutze is teaming up with Harborside to throw a Halloween bash. There will be a DJ, drink specials, food vendors, costume contest and more from 8pm-1am. Tickets are available for purchase via Eventbrite or at the door. 210 Hudson St.

Screening of Alfred Hitchcock's The Lodger at Monty Hall

On Friday, October 26th Monty Hall will be hosting a showing of Alfred Hitchcock's The Lodger, a silent film from 1927 about a serial killer on the loose in London. However, things won't be completely silent because the movie will be accompanied by live score from Morricone Youth. Tickets are $12. 43 Montgomery St.

Saturday, October 27th:

Halloween Trivia at WORD

Are you a Halloween freak? Test your knowledge (or learn more about it) with Halloween trivia at WORD this Saturday. Entrance is only $5, the event includes wine, and the $5 is good towards anything in the store. Trivia starts at 6pm. 123 Newark Ave.

Terminal of Terror III

A Halloweekend extravaganza. On Saturday October 27th, the Central Railroad Terminal at Liberty State Park will be transformed into a Freak Show. 5th Annual 5K & Family Fun Glow Walk and Run

The Epilepsy Foundation of NJ is hosting a 5K Glow Walk and Run at Liberty State Park this Saturday from 3pm - 7pm. Halloween dress-up is encouraged but not required. Sign up here. Note: This is a weather permitting event. 200 Morris Pesin Dr.

Halloween Vampire Ball at The Velvet Rose

The Hutton's Halloween Party

Halloween Party at South House

Young Frankenstein Nite at Loew's Theater

Come out and party mascaraed in a historic baroque setting. The ball will take place in the Grand Lobby of The Loews Theatre. Mel Brook's Young Frankenstein will be playing on the 50ft. big screen. Light refreshments will be served, costume contest, prizes, and more are all a part of the evening's festivities. Cash bar only and the soiree starts at 7pm and goes until 1am. Farmer's Market at Lincoln Park
