You've made it through Thanksgiving and now it's time to enjoy a little relaxation before the December festivities really get going! There are tons of great events happening around the city this weekend to help you embrace the wintery weather and kick off the season of indulgence.

Thursday, November 29th:

Fortune Thursdays at Talde

Every Thursday night Miss Wong's, Talde's basement club, becomes the best spot in the city for drink specials, dancing, and drag! Miss Marti Gould Cummings hosts their drag show beginning at 10:30 pm. This is always guaranteed to be a fun time! 8 Erie St.

A Taste of Italy at Sátis Bistro

The Paulus Hook favorite, Sátis Bistro, will be hosting a four-course dinner paired with a selection of Italian wines. The evening begins at 7:30pm, tickets are available on their website. 212 Washington St.

Prato a tavola at Prato Bakery

Beginning at 6:30pm on Thursday night, Prato Bakery invites you to a night of indulging in traditional wines and recipes from Tuscany. Tickets can be reserved here. 371 4th St.

Friday, November 30th:

Band Camp Fridays at Zeppelin Hall

Grab some friends and head over to Zeppelin Hall this Friday for live bands playing all your favorite music from the '80s to now! The music kicks off at 9pm, and make sure you stick around for their Midnight Happy Hour! 88 Liberty View Dr.

Happy Hour Art Event at Acuworx Acupuncture Studio

Little Bit of This, Little Bit of That at Six Columns Gallery

Project Market at City Hall Plaza

Saturday and Sunday City Hall Plaza will be taken over by a holiday market with over 60 merchants, food trucks, and an outdoor bar and heated seating area! This is definitely a can't-miss event and it will be running all weekend from 11am-6pm each day. 280 Grove St.

Winter Evergreen Trees Walk at Liberty State Park

What better way to start off the most festive month of the year than a stroll through the park admiring and learning about the different types of evergreens and their role in nature. The event begins at 10am at the Park Office in Liberty State Park. 200 Morris Pesin Dr.

HijabFest, Limited Edition at Liberty House Restaurant

Liberty House Restaurant will be the luxury location for the 2018 HijabFest, Limited Edition. The event runs from 11am-3pm and will feature a luncheon, as well as guest of honor Laila Al-Arian, an Emmy-award winning journalist for Al Jazeera Media Network. MUVEZ Footwear Launch 2018 at Headroom Bar & Social

Jersey City Hillers Half Marathon Challenge 2018 at Enos Jones Park
