This past month is all about food and drinks. Everything that opened up in March will tantalize your tastebuds and fulfill your drinking and lounging needs. Check out all these spots because they're all pretty awesome (some of them you might already be familiar with!).
The Harborside Atrium is now home to quite a few of your favorite local restaurants. It's only open from 7am to 7pm on weekdays, so it's the perfect spot to grab a bite while you're at work (or working from home), or some happy hour drinks (yes, it has a bar!). The complete vendor list includes: Angry Archie's, Ani Ramen, Baonanas, The Belgian Plate by Waffle It & Co, Canteen to Go, Enfes, Kimchi Grillk, Left Bank Burger Bar, Little Sushi Shop, Modcup, Pizza Vita, Salt & Seed, and Tidal Poke. Harborside Atrium.
Ghost Truck Kitchen
The food-truck-inspired innovative pickup—and soon delivery—spot Ghost Truck Kitchen is finally in soft open mode. Every week, they announce their weekend hours via Instagram, and in a matter of weeks they'll announce their hard open schedule. If you haven't tried their fresh, made-to-order food yet, we highly recommend you get off your butts and pick a few items up this weekend. Special shout out to the buffalo chicken sandwich! 356 Varick St.
Ohlala! Dessert Bar
The most charming French bakery has just opened up in McGinley Square. The cozy space is bedecked with flowers and the cutest décor, but that's not the best part. The baked goods are out of this world. Our must-haves? The Paris Brest and of course, their signature 3 Choco Mocha! 682-686 Bergen Ave.
Milk Sugar Love
The beloved Hamilton Park organic ice cream spot officially opened in The Heights this past weekend. You'll be able to get scoops of your favorite flavors, their signature—and custom—ice cream sandwiches, and of course, their tasty ice cream cakes. Bonus: they also have vegan flavors! 384 Palisade Ave.
Journal Square Pub just underwent a tremendous transformation and reopened as Journal Square Lounge. The owners are JC natives and wanted to make this a true JC bar for JC residents. The new space has gotten a complete makeover in the décor department, a new cocktail menu, and soon, will debut a food menu. 50 Journal Sq. Plaza
Rooftop at Six26 Lounge
It's finally warm enough that Six26 has opened up their rooftop for its debut season. The LGBTQ nightclub and lounge will offer a brunch menu and small bites, and some killer views of everyone's favorite city (Chilltown!). 128 Christopher Columbus Dr.
