Atlas Public House
Atlas should be one of your go-to spots for local brews. They have a rotating selection of New Jersey Craft Beers that will help you embrace your JC pride! 130 Newark Avenue.
One of my favorite spots for unique craft beers is Barcade. They always have an interesting selection for the adventurous beer drinker! Their beers are perfect to keep you fueled for a night of video gaming! 163 Newark Avenue.
Pint is a cute little spot that will satisfy your need for diversity in your craft options! They have a huge assortment of craft bottles and cans, and a few rotating taps that truly embrace the creativity of craft beer! This should be your go-to Sunday place, with $4 craft beers all night long! 34 Wayne Street.
Skinner's Loft has a nice small selection of rotating taps for a change of pace from their renowned cocktail menu. They also have a beautiful rooftop patio for you to enjoy a beautiful summer evening with a craft beer in hand! 146 Newark Ave.
If it's craft beer you seek, why not go straight to the source? Departed Soles is Jersey City's brewery, and they are always keeping it interesting! It's always a good idea to get their $15 flight and pint, so you can sample as many tasty brews as possible. They focus totally on their amazing beers, so it's a Bring-Your-Own-Food establishment, and the bonus is that dogs are welcome too! 150 Bay Street #2a.
Wurstbar is the definition of trendy, and while they do have a fantastic selection of craft beers, it is their craft ciders that are the real winners, the sweet summery sister to craft brews! Wurstbar has the perfect selection of artisanal hot dogs, sausages, and poutine to pair with local and international ciders and beers! 516 Jersey Avenue.
Being an Italian restaurant, Porta might be better known for their wine list, but they also have a vast assortment of local craft brews, which pair just as well with fresh ricotta and wood-fired pizza! 135 Newark Avenue.
Now, when I say extensive tap list, even that might be an understatement for Zeppelin Hall! They have so many options of craft and international beers, and are conveniently organized by type on their double-sided menu. Once you find the beer you love, you can even get it in one of their famous 32oz steins. Hudson Hall's European beer hall styled restaurant creates the perfect ambience to enjoy your craft brew! They have a large selection of rotating taps with a craft selection that is sure to please any beer-drinker's taste!
