Brightside Film Festival at The Brightside Tavern – August 3rd & 4th

That's So Gay! Art Exhibit Opening Reception at LITM – August 6th

LITM is opening their newest group art exhibition in a positive celebration of the beauty and diversity of what it means to be LGBTQIA! The LGBTQIA community of Jersey City has always been an integral part of the LITM family and they are excited to present this exhibition in collaboration with Jersey City Pride month. Beer + Yoga at Departed Soles Brewing Co. – August 7th

Your favorite local brewery is hosting another installment of Yoga + Beer! $10 will get you an hour of yoga, a brewery tour, and a glass of beer! The class will begin at 7pm, and reservations can be made ahead of time by emailing the brewery.150 Bay St.

Crazy for Mojitos Cocktail Class at Liberty House Restaurant – August 8th

Bolero Snort Tap Takeover at The Corkscrew Bar & Grill – August 9th

Head over to Corkscrew Bar for a night full of local craft brews and tunes! New Jersey brewery Bolero Snort, known for their creative craft beers, will be taking over the taps for the night, along with live music performed by Jersey City natives the Hudson City Rats! 61 Congress St.

Powerhouse Arts and Wine Fest at CoolVines – August 10th

CoolVines Jersey City and Nimbus Dance Works are bringing you a collaboration festival devoted to all things delicious and artistic! Beginning at 11am, celebrate all things art as you drink wine & beer, listen to live music, indulge in BBQ bites, and discover new and emerging local artists. This is a family-friendly event and 100% of proceeds made from the festival will go to Nimbus Dance Works to help complete the long-awaited Nimbus Arts Center. Indian Independence Day Celebration at City Hall Plaza – August 10th

You are invited to celebrate the 5th Annual Indian Independence Day Celebration in Jersey City! The event will take place at City Hall Plaza from 4:00–8:30pm. There will be Indian dance performances featuring both children and adults, as well as the singing of national songs. The Living Dead Market at The Harsimus Cemetery – August 11th

The Jersey City Oddities Market returns to The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery on August 11th! Join over a dozen vendors and special live entertainment to support the all-volunteer board of Harsimus Cemetery in raising funds for the upkeep of this historic site! 2nd Annual Pride With Your Pup at Corgi Spirits – August 11th

Join Corgi Spirits for Jersey City's Pride Month! Corgi will be partnering with the Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival and hosting the 2nd Annual "Pride With Your Pup" event! Dress up your dog and come ready to compete in the doggy-owner lookalike costume contest, the winner will receive a $50 gift card and some Corgi Spirits swag for their four-legged friend! LSC After Dark: Wine-O-Saurs at The Liberty Science Center – August 15th

5th Annual Jersey City Pride Bar Crawl – August 17th

The Jersey City Pride Bar Crawl is a walking tour that will visit local bars in the Downtown Jersey City area. There will be drink specials and special raffles at each location! The First Annual Miss Six26 Pageant at Six26 – August 17th

Jersey City's newest rooftop bar is hosting their First Annual Miss Six26 Pageant in collaboration with the Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival. Exploring the Barrow Mansion & Oldest Public Bowling Alley in the US – August 18th

Add a little history to your summer with this tour of the Barrow Mansion! You've likely admired its stunning Greek columns and 40-foot-wide front steps from afar, and the inside is even more spectacular! There is even a sub-level bowling alley that dates back over a century! Join New York Adventure Club for an exclusive tour and bowling session at the historic Barrow Mansion, a house that tells the story of multiple generations of people who came to Jersey City in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Union City Street Fair & Craft Show at Washington Park – August 18th

19th Annual Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival – August 24th

Celebrate the diversity and love in our community at the 19th Annual Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival! This year the theme is Honoring Our Past…Creating Our Future, in recognition of the Stonewall 50 Commemoration & WorldPride 2019. The Festival will take place on Newark Avenue between Grove Street and Jersey Avenue, beginning at 1pm and running until 9pm. The Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival celebrates the diversity of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities and allies of Hudson County and the New York City metropolitan area. This event is HUGE—last year the official estimate of attendance at the festival was between 15,000-17,000 people! The Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival is recognized not only as the premier LGBT event in Hudson County, but also one of the largest festivals in the Northern New Jersey region. Hard Grove Annual 5K Run at Liberty State Park – August 25th

Bring your friends and family on Sunday, August 25thfor the Hard Grove Charity Run/Walk. Proceeds will benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the state's largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization. There will be an after race brunch at Hard Grove, so you can unwind and enjoy sitting out on their patio listening to some music and eating great food!
