Thursday, September 12th:
Jersey City Slam at Snapdragon Coffee & Social
Head down to Snapdragon Coffee and Social every second Thursday of the month from 6-9pm for a nationally recognized poetry slam and open mic going into its 10th season! Judges will be picked randomly from the audience so make sure to get your tickets

Siesta Party at The Ashford

Thursday at 8pm at FM Restaurant Bar and Lounge you can find a blistering rock show featuring a stacked list of performers. Tickets are $7 at the door.

Midnight Market Opening Night at Harborside Atrium
It's back! The opening night of the famous Jersey City Midnight Market is upon us. This is a 21+ cash only event—no kids, no pets, no whining. Tickets can be bought in advance
here but are also available at the door. The event goes from 6:30 to midnight with many food vendors having $5 plates and a $7 limit so bring your appetite. 210 Hudson St.
Pier Fest 2019 at J. Owen Grundy Park
Friday nights in September come on out for a night of Latin Jazz, food trucks and beer. In the event of rain, the event will take place at the Harborside Atrium.

Join bada$ Jane Do owners (and former Rockettes) Jacey Lambros and Danielle DeAngelo and team in their first Jane-A-Palooza. The block party is a celebration of the strong women in the community. What better way to explore the local street art Jersey City has to offer than by bike. The tour runs from 12-2:30pm and is free but reservations can be made

Newport Liberty Half Marathon
Looking to be athletic this weekend? NYC Runs has got you with this half marathon that begins and ends in downtown Newport and will give you a brisk running tour of historic Jersey City and will feature world-class views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, and the Manhattan Skyline.
